\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Intercessory Prayer (praying on behalf of others).<\/p>

All Christians are called to be \u201cintercessors.\u201d<\/p>

All Christians have the Holy Spirit in their hearts and, just as the Holy Spirit intercedes for us in accordance with God\u2019s will, we are to intercede for one another.<\/p>

\u201cIn the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness.<\/p>

We do not know what we ought to pray for,<\/p>

but the Spirit himself intercedes for us<\/p>

with groans that words cannot express.<\/p>

And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit,<\/p>

because the Spirit intercedes for the saints<\/p>

in accordance with God\u2019s will\u2026.\u201d Romans 8:26-27<\/p>

\u201cAs for me, far be it from me to sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray for you\u2026\u201d1 Samuel, 13:23<\/p>

Almighty Father in heaven,
Hold my prayer partner close to you today,<\/p>

Bless (______) in whatever it is You know
(he\/she) needs this day.<\/p>

Dry (his\/her) tears if (he\/she) weeps;<\/p>

sanctify (his\/her) joys; raise their courage if they weaken;<\/p>

restore (his\/her) hope if they lose heart;<\/p>

strengthen (his\/her) health if (he\/she) be ill;<\/p>

Help (him\/her) to repent if (he\/she) fails;<\/p>

and encourage (him\/her) to seek<\/p>

a closer relationship with You.<\/p>

In Jesus Christ’s name I pray,
who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit
One God forever and ever.<\/p>
